Senior Java Developer



We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team in Akron. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using Java
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Java development
- Mentor junior developers on best practices for coding and development processes
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Java Developer
- Strong experience with core Java development (J2EE)
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience working on Agile projects and using tools like JIRA or Trello
- Knowledge of database design principles (SQL)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues

Salary: $1700 per month
