Land Surveyor Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Land Surveyor Assistant. This position is based in Mauren and is perfect for a fresh graduate or someone looking to start their career in land surveying. As an assistant, you will work closely with our experienced land surveyors to help collect data, perform calculations and create detailed surveys. No prior experience is required, but basic knowledge of land surveying principles and equipment is preferred. This role offers the opportunity for growth within the company and the chance to gain valuable on-the-job experience. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors. As this position may involve traveling to different locations, a valid driver's license is also preferred. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of land surveying principles and equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to travel to different locations as needed
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior land surveyors in collecting data, performing calculations and creating surveys
- Use various tools such as GPS, total stations, and 3D scanners to gather accurate measurements
- Work closely with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate records of all data collected during surveys
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Continuously learn about new technologies and techniques in the field of land surveying
