Unity Developer - Game Development (Shan, Canada)
We are a rapidly growing game development studio located in the beautiful city of Shan, Canada. We are seeking a talented Unity Developer to join our team and help us create exciting and engaging gaming experiences for our players. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality games using Unity engine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the game design team to understand the game concept and translate it into engaging gameplay mechanics
- Implement game features and functionality using C# within the Unity engine
- Create efficient, reusable, and well-documented code
- Optimize game performance for different platforms including mobile devices
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing games
- Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the quality of our games
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Unity Developer
- Proficiency in C# and strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with 2D/3D game development using Unity engine
- Strong understanding of game design principles and user experience
- Experience with optimization techniques for different platforms (i.e. mobile devices)
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN
Bonus Skills:
- Experience developing games for VR/AR platforms
- Knowledge of shader programming in Unity engine
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
