Long-Haul Truck Driver

A reputable trucking company in Clairvaux is seeking a skilled and experienced Long-Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long-Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances, often spanning multiple states or provinces. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients’ cargo is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and flatbed trucks
- Safely load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to deliver goods on time
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust routes as needed
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the truck and report any issues or malfunctions
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and expenses
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members
- Follow proper procedures for securing cargo to ensure it reaches its destination intact

Requirements:
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving tractor-trailers or other large commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per week plus bonuses for safe driving.

Location:
This position is based in Clairvaux but may require travel across various states or provinces depending on the delivery route.
