Instrument Technician

An innovative engineering company in Balzers is seeking a skilled and passionate Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of electronic and mechanical instruments used in various industries. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Requirements:
- Relevant technical degree or certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with electronic and mechanical instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Must be able to work legally in Balzers without accommodation or visa sponsorship
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment when necessary

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal functionality
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with instruments, including electronic, mechanical, and software components
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Install new instruments and ensure proper integration into existing systems
- Keep detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and installations for future reference
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to solve complex instrument issues

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in the oil, gas, or manufacturing industries
- Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems
- Familiarity with safety regulations for handling hazardous materials or working in potentially dangerous environments
