Foreign Language Teacher


A prestigious language school in Nairobi is seeking a qualified Foreign Language Teacher to join our team. As a Foreign Language Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students of various levels and backgrounds, helping them develop their language skills and cultural understanding. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective lessons that meet the needs of individual students
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote language acquisition
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and materials
- Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and any concerns
- Encourage cultural exchange among students by incorporating authentic materials and activities into lessons
- Stay up-to-date with current teaching methodologies and educational trends
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching foreign languages (English not required)
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and levels
- Strong communication skills in English (additional language proficiency preferred)
- Passion for teaching and promoting cultural understanding
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
