IT Support Technician

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team in Washington. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users with computer hardware, software, and networking issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information in simple terms.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and provide timely solutions
- Install and configure computer systems and software
- Monitor and maintain computer networks
- Perform data backups and ensure data security
- Train users on new systems or software as needed
- Keep accurate records of all technical issues and resolutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, including hardware, software, networking, and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and quickly find solutions
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in simple terms
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Washington (open to candidates from other cities within the US)

Employment type: Contract (6 months with possibility for extension)

Experience level: Entry-level/freshers are welcome to apply

Language requirements: No English proficiency required but must be able to communicate effectively in English.
