Librarian

The Librarian will be responsible for the organization and management of the library at our prestigious academic institution in Dar Kulaib. This full-time position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with previous experience in library services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature and knowledge, as well as a strong understanding of library systems and resources.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the library collection, including cataloging, shelving, and circulation of books
- Assist students and faculty in locating materials and conducting research
- Develop and implement library programs to promote information literacy among students
- Oversee the budget for library resources, including purchasing new materials as needed
- Train and supervise library assistants to ensure smooth operation of daily tasks
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into curriculum
- Stay updated on new technologies and trends in library management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using library software systems
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Library Science or related field
- Experience working in an academic or research setting
- Familiarity with current trends in education, technology, and digital resources
- Fluency in Arabic language

Salary: $1100 per month, plus benefits.
