Milling Machine Operator - Contract Position in Osijek, Croatia


We are in need of an experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team on a contract basis in Osijek. As an operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read blueprints, job orders, and engineering specifications to determine machining requirements
- Adjust machine controls including speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth of cut
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills

Salary: $1500 per month (USD)

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. The candidate will have a private room in a shared apartment located close to our facility.

We are able to sponsor a work visa for non-EU citizens who meet the qualifications for this position.
