Commercial Architect

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings, such as offices, retail spaces, and hotels. Your main goal will be to ensure that the buildings are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and meet all safety and building codes.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their needs and requirements for the commercial building project
- Create detailed plans and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective
- Ensure all designs adhere to local zoning laws, building codes, and safety regulations
- Oversee the construction process to ensure it aligns with the approved design plans
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address any issues that may arise, and make necessary adjustments to the design
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on the project's progress and address any concerns they may have

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Commercial Architect
- Proficient in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
