Skilled Handyman

We are seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Handyman, your main responsibility will be to perform various maintenance and repair tasks in order to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This includes tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of our facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, and repairing damaged furniture
- Ensure that all safety equipment is in good working condition and report any issues to management
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies for repairs
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors when needed for larger projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role
- Solid knowledge of general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, etc.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
- Good physical strength and stamina to handle manual labor tasks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexibility to work on weekends or after hours if needed

Salary:
We value the skills of our employees and offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Nizwa, Oman. While we welcome applicants from all nationalities, preference will be given to Canadian citizens.
