Cashier (Egyptian/Filipino) in Medina
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Medina. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing all transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide friendly and efficient service
- Scan items, collect payments, and give correct change
- Ensure all prices are accurate and promotions are applied correctly
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and any other inquiries
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Keep track of inventory levels and notify management when stock is low
- Follow all company procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic or Tagalog is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
- Must have own visa or residency permit for employment in Medina
