Mason - Construction Worker


We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Ar-Ruwais. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and buildings using various materials including brick, concrete, and stone. You will also need to have knowledge of different construction techniques and be able to read blueprints and follow construction plans.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of different masonry materials and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills in English

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for masonry work by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them
- Lay out patterns or designs by following blueprints or instructions from supervisors
- Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to bind materials together
- Use tools such as trowels, hammers, levels, and plumb lines for accurate placement of bricks or stones
- Cut or shape bricks or stones according to specifications using hand or power tools
- Check finished work for quality standards and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Collaborate with other construction workers on larger projects
