Mining Technician


As a Mining Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of mining equipment and processes. This includes conducting routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections on mining equipment to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
- Perform maintenance tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, and replacing parts as needed
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Monitor equipment performance and report any abnormalities or concerns to the mining supervisor
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
- Assist in training new employees on proper use of equipment and safety procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a mining environment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

Salary: $1800 per month
