Pastry Chef
A renowned bakery in Lom, Nepal is seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of delicious pastries and desserts in line with our menu offerings. You will also oversee the pastry team, ensuring high quality standards are met and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use your expertise to develop new and innovative pastry recipes
- Prepare and present a wide variety of pastries, such as cakes, tarts, cookies, and breads
- Ensure all pastries are made in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Train and supervise pastry staff to ensure consistency in product quality
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ordering as needed
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of different types of pastries, baking techniques, and flavor combinations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Creativity and passion for creating visually appealing and delicious pastries
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month based on experience.
