Pastry Chef
Our bakery in Lom is seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team of talented bakers. The ideal candidate must have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, as well as a strong knowledge of various pastry techniques and ingredients. As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for developing new recipes, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and training other pastry chefs. You must also have excellent time management skills to ensure that orders are completed in a timely manner. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create unique and high-quality pastries for our bakery
- Develop new recipes based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies when needed
- Train other pastry chefs on proper techniques and procedures
- Ensure all pastries are prepared and presented according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience working as a pastry chef
- Strong knowledge of different pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, and plating
- Excellent time management skills
- Creative thinking and ability to develop unique recipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
