Executive Chef - Seasonal Position (Short-Term Contract) in Dickirch, Luxembourg
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team for a short-term seasonal contract in Dickirch, Luxembourg. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operation of our establishment, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and design menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing revenue and reducing costs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to create innovative dishes while also maintaining classic favorites
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
