Excavator Operator



We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move large amounts of earth and other materials on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain excavators according to safety regulations
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine excavation requirements
- Dig trenches, foundations, and other excavations as needed
- Load and unload materials using the excavator's bucket or other attachments
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to supervisor
- Work closely with ground crew to ensure efficient and safe operation of the excavator
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Familiarity with excavation techniques and equipment maintenance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
