Blast Furnace Operator


We are currently hiring a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Zagreb. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces, which are used to melt and process raw materials for steel production. This is a physically demanding role that requires working in high temperatures and handling heavy machinery.

Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and regulate the temperature, pressure, and flow of materials in the blast furnace
- Adjust furnace controls as needed to maintain optimal operation
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or defects and make necessary repairs
- Keep accurate records of production data, including temperatures, pressures, and material usage
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Blast Furnace Operator or similar role
- Knowledge of blast furnace operations and steel production processes
- Physically fit and able to work in high temperatures
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
