Computer Research Scientist



A leading research institution in Beer-Sheva is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Research Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting innovative research in the field of computer science, with a focus on cutting-edge technologies and applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement experiments to test new computer algorithms and technologies
- Analyze data and present findings to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with other researchers, engineers, and developers to advance the state of the art in computer science
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply them to ongoing research projects
- Publish research papers in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and interns
- Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts

Requirements:
- A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong background in one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining, natural language processing, computer vision
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with scientific computing tools (e.g. MATLAB)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to think creatively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Prior experience publishing research papers is preferred but not required

This position offers a competitive salary of $1300 per month along with benefits including free visa sponsorship and airfare for international candidates.
