Information Security Analyst



We are a leading technology company located in Eschen, and we are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. You will work closely with our IT department to identify potential security risks and implement effective security measures to mitigate those risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in our systems
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity and investigate any potential security breaches
- Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Implement security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption software
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture
- Train employees on information security best practices and raise awareness about potential risks
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and provide incident reports for management review

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g. GDPR)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred
