Data Analyst - Contract Position


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Shan, Kenya. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data, identifying trends and patterns, and providing insights to inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, with experience using various tools and techniques to gather, clean, and interpret data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing large sets of data from multiple sources
- Conducting thorough analysis and identifying patterns and trends
- Creating visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborating with teams across the organization to understand data needs and provide actionable insights
- Identifying areas for process improvement based on data analysis
- Continuously monitoring data quality to ensure accuracy and consistency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets
- Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages (Python, R)
- Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
