Executive Chef - Nizwa, Egypt
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Nizwa, Egypt. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create menus that showcase local flavors while also incorporating international influences
- Manage food inventory and control costs to ensure profitability
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate menu offerings for special events or occasions
- Keep up-to-date with current food trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu items
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training/education preferred
- Proficient in creating innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary restrictions
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong understanding of food costing, inventory management, and kitchen operations
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment is an asset
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
Salary: $900/month (negotiable based on experience)
