Android Developer

Our growing tech company in Acre is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for our existing mobile applications. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging any issues that arise, as well as ensuring the overall performance and usability of our apps. We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month, along with accommodation and visa sponsorship for Nepali candidates. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to design and implement new features for our Android applications
- Write clean, efficient code that follows industry standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development or after release
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability of codebase
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Continuously research and implement new technologies to improve app functionality and user experience

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience developing native Android applications using Java or Kotlin
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, etc.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs into mobile applications
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills in English

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with cross-platform app development (e.g. React Native)
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
