Insurance Claims Adjuster



As an Insurance Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating insurance claims to determine coverage and compensation. You will work closely with policyholders, insurance companies, and other relevant parties to investigate the details of each claim and make fair and accurate assessments. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review insurance policies and claims documentation to determine coverage
- Conduct thorough investigations to gather all necessary information on each claim
- Interview policyholders, witnesses, and other involved parties to obtain statements
- Evaluate damages or injuries reported in claims against policy provisions
- Determine the appropriate amount of compensation for each claim based on policy coverage and evidence gathered
- Document all findings and decisions in detailed reports for insurance companies
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders or their legal representatives when necessary
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and changes in insurance policies

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the insurance industry
- Knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate information from various sources
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with the ability to spot discrepancies or inconsistencies in claims documentation
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Location: Nairobi (open to candidates from other cities within Kenya)

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Visa Sponsorship: Available for qualified candidates
