Executive Chef



Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Kaunas. As an Indian restaurant, we are looking for a chef with a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and the ability to create authentic and innovative dishes. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for food.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus that showcase the best of Indian cuisine
- Manage and train kitchen staff to ensure high quality dishes are consistently produced
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source fresh ingredients
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu items

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport or eligibility to work in Lithuania
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
