Instrument Technician
We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Triesen. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$ per month and includes accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as calibration and testing
- Keep accurate records of work performed and any equipment changes or upgrades
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of instruments and control systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, instrumentation principles, and control systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Certification or associate's degree in instrumentation technology or a related field
- Familiarity with PLC programming or DCS systems
