Instrument Technician

An instrument technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This includes electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical instruments used for measuring and controlling pressure, temperature, flow, and other variables. The technician will also troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and make necessary adjustments or replacements. They will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all equipment is operating correctly and safely. This job requires a high level of technical knowledge and experience with a variety of instruments.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on all types of instruments
- Repair or replace faulty parts as needed
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and make necessary adjustments
- Document all maintenance and repairs performed
- Work closely with engineers to understand the function of different instruments
- Keep up-to-date with new technology in the field
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an instrument technician
- Knowledge of various types of instruments including electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies

Salary: 1400$ per month (tax-free)

Location: Al-Kuwait (Egyptian nationality preferred)

Contract type: 1 year contract with possibility for extension

Accommodation: Provided by company

Language requirement: No English required but basic communication skills are preferred.
