Hotel Sales Manager in Mauren, Kenya


A reputable hotel in Mauren is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue by developing and implementing strategic sales plans. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential target markets
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Manage the sales team, providing training, support, and guidance as needed
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to upper management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in hotel sales management or a similar role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing revenue
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in the hospitality industry in Kenya or East Africa region
- Knowledge of local market trends, competitors, and customer preferences
- Experience managing a diverse team
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends when necessary
