Industrial Alpinist
As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at heights using specialized equipment and techniques. Your main duties will include conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial structures such as bridges, buildings, and wind turbines. You will also be required to work on ropes or suspended platforms to access hard-to-reach areas. This role requires physical strength, technical skills, and the ability to work safely at high altitudes. Experience in industrial climbing or rope access is preferred. This position is open to all genders and nationalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial structures
- Operating specialized equipment and tools while working at heights
- Setting up safety systems and following safety protocols
- Communicating with team members to coordinate tasks
- Keeping detailed records of work completed
- Adhering to industry regulations and company policies
- Maintaining physical fitness levels for the demands of the job
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in industrial climbing/rope access preferred
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Technical skills in using equipment such as harnesses, ropes, ascenders/descenders, etc.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for assignments as needed
Salary: $1000/month (negotiable based on experience)
