Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Nizwa. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial processes. Your duties will include troubleshooting issues, conducting tests, and ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of technical diagrams and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a contract position without accommodation and is suitable for men. Indians are preferred for this role due to language proficiency and cultural fit within the team. Salary is 1500$ per month.

As an Instrument Technician, your responsibilities will include:

- Installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves.
- Troubleshooting issues with instrumentation systems and recommending solutions.
- Conducting tests to ensure proper functionality of instruments.
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborating with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
- Providing training to junior technicians on instrument maintenance procedures.
- Ordering necessary supplies and equipment for maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of technical diagrams and schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems with instrumentation systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to instrument maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

This contract position without accommodation requires individuals who are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
