Chef de Cuisine
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Cuisine to join our team at a reputable restaurant in Beer-Sheva, Israel. As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, managing a team of cooks, and creating delicious and high-quality dishes for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
- Create and develop new menu items
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure timely ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain inventory levels and control food costs
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, pricing, and menu planning
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a busy restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Extensive knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines
- Creativity in developing new dishes while maintaining traditional favorites
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth understanding of kitchen sanitation regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Hebrew is a plus)
- Degree or certification from a culinary institute is preferred
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
