Carpenter - Construction and Renovation Specialist (Contract)



We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Construction and Renovation Specialist, you will be responsible for completing various carpentry projects, including building new structures, repairing existing ones, and installing fixtures. This is a contract position, with no English language requirement and no accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut wood or other materials according to specific project requirements
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and trim
- Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet project specifications
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery
- Strong attention to detail with excellent math skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if needed
- Knowledge of safety procedures while working with potentially dangerous equipment or materials

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
- Valid carpentry license or certification preferred
- Experience in construction or renovation projects preferred
- Familiarity with Egyptian/Canadian carpentry techniques preferred
