CNC Operator


A reputable manufacturing company in Nairobi is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine set-up and production methods
- Set up machines based on specifications provided
- Load raw materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the production process
- Maintain equipment, including performing regular maintenance tasks and cleaning as needed
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of G-code programming language preferred
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Nairobi, Kenya (open to foreigners)
Employment type: Contract (with potential for full-time employment)
