Job Title: Senior Accountant


We are currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will also be responsible for managing a team of junior accountants and providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and perform bank reconciliations
- Supervise a team of junior accountants and provide training and support as needed
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential errors or discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports for management meetings and provide insights on financial performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance roles (experience in a supervisory role preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and MS Office applications (especially Excel)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu is a plus

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Khasab, Oman

Visa: Free visa provided by the company

Ticket: One-way ticket provided by the company upon joining; return ticket provided after completion of one year contract.
