Librarian (English-Speaking)
As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library of our educational institution in Triesen. Your main duties will include cataloging and classifying books, assisting students and faculty with research inquiries, and maintaining the overall operation of the library. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing library policies, as well as managing budget and resources for acquisition of new materials. This is a full-time position with visa sponsorship available for non-EU citizens. We strongly encourage women to apply for this position.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of library software systems
- Familiarity with current trends in library technology

Responsibilities:
- Catalog and classify books, periodicals, and other materials using standard library classification systems
- Assist students and faculty with research inquiries by providing reference services, conducting information searches, and recommending resources
- Manage circulation services including checking in/out materials, issuing library cards, and maintaining accurate records
- Develop and implement policies related to the operation of the library
- Manage budget and resources for acquisition of new materials including books, journals, databases, etc.
- Train other staff members on the use of library software systems
- Stay updated on current trends in library technology and make recommendations for improvements to the library's services
- Promote the use of the library by organizing events such as book clubs or author talks
