Surveyor Technician
As a Surveyor Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the surveyor in conducting land surveys and collecting data. You will work closely with the surveyor to determine precise measurements and provide accurate documentation of the land and its features. Your duties may include operating surveying equipment, taking measurements, and recording data.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a surveyor technician or similar role preferred
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and digital levels
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to interpret data accurately
- Knowledge of land surveying principles and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Responsibilities:
- Assist the surveyor in conducting land surveys according to project specifications
- Operate surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and digital levels under the direction of the surveyor
- Take accurate measurements of land features using various tools including tapes, rods, chains, and electronic distance-measuring devices
- Record data collected during surveys and input it into computer programs for analysis
- Help prepare maps, charts, or reports based on survey results
- Maintain equipment in good working condition by cleaning and calibrating as needed
- Collaborate with other team members on projects when necessary
Salary: $1600 per month
Location: Balzers (visa sponsorship available)
