Long Haul Truck Driver

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across long distances. This role requires excellent driving skills, a good sense of direction, and the ability to adhere to strict schedules. You will also be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:
- Operate company-owned or leased trucks to facilitate the delivery of goods
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, including regular oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks
- Keep records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation and safety regulations
- Communicate with dispatchers or route planners to report any delays or issues on the road
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Maintain a clean truck and ensure that all cargo is properly secured for transport

Requirements:
- Valid biometric passport (preferably Egyptian)
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver (long haul experience preferred)
- Ability to work long hours and travel long distances
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Al-Khor, Qatar (accommodation provided)
