Bilingual Interpreter in Ashdod


We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Ashdod. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and professional interpretation services for clients who speak different languages. This role requires fluency in both English and another language, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including foreigners and English-speaking individuals, so cultural sensitivity is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct interpretation sessions for clients in a variety of settings, including meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings
- Provide accurate and timely translation of spoken content between English and the designated language
- Ensure clear communication between parties by accurately conveying tone, emotions, and nuances of the conversation
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Familiarize yourself with specialized terminology related to the client's industry or subject matter to ensure accurate interpretation
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding interpretation services

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and another language (preferably one commonly spoken by foreigners)
- Proven experience as an Interpreter or similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds
- Own visa or work permit in Israel
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Ashdod but may require occasional travel within the city or surrounding areas.

Accommodation:
This job does not include accommodation. Candidates must have their own housing arrangements within Ashdod or be willing to relocate.
