Librarian for a Library in Jizan, Saudi Arabia



We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Librarian to join our library in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other resources. You will also be in charge of providing reference and information services to library patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cataloging and classifying library materials using standard classification systems.
- Maintaining accurate records of the library's collection.
- Developing and promoting library programs and activities.
- Assisting patrons with finding and accessing materials.
- Managing the library's budget for purchasing new materials.
- Collaborating with other librarians to ensure the smooth operation of the library.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.
- Experience working as a librarian preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of cataloging systems and reference resources.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in using technology for library management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary: 900$ per month (negotiable based on experience).
