We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites according to client specifications. You will also be involved in the technical aspects of website development, such as troubleshooting and debugging code, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and optimizing website performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Conduct thorough testing of websites to identify and fix any errors or issues
- Ensure that all websites are optimized for search engines
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in web development techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or Drupal
- Strong understanding of website architecture and design principles
- Knowledge of SEO techniques is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills

Salary:
We offer a salary of 1400$ per month for this full-time position. The exact salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Location:
This is a full-time position located in Svalbard. The location preference is flexible for exceptional candidates who can work remotely.
