Junior Back-End Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Junior Back-End Developer to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. As a Junior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in developing and maintaining the back-end of our software applications. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of 1000$ per month.

Requirements:
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Knowledge of back-end development principles and frameworks
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the front-end development team to design and implement server-side logic for software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software applications
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure quality and identify areas for improvement
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into development processes when applicable

Qualifications:
- No prior experience required but some experience with back-end development is preferred
- Basic knowledge of database management systems
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git
