DevOps Developer
We are in search of a skilled DevOps Developer to join our growing team in the beautiful city of Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's infrastructure and ensuring smooth deployment and operation of our software applications. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation processes for software deployment and configuration management
- Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and updates
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Develop tools and scripts to improve efficiency in deployment, testing, and monitoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in the software development process
- Ensure security protocols are implemented throughout the development process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker)
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
