PHP Developer


We are seeking a talented and motivated PHP Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications and websites. Your primary focus will be creating code that is efficient, secure, and easy to maintain. You must have a strong understanding of web development principles and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new features for existing web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug code issues
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to create intuitive user interfaces
- Write efficient, secure, and organized code
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Maintain existing web applications by identifying and fixing bugs
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of PHP programming language
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is preferred
- Experience with MySQL database management is a plus
- Knowledge of popular PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based in Svalbard. While we prefer local candidates, we are open to remote work for the right candidate.

Experience:
This position does not require prior experience, but candidates with at least 1 year of experience in web development will be given preference.
