Virtual Reality/ Augmented Reality Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Virtual Reality/ Augmented Reality Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a VR/AR Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality applications. This is a contract job with the possibility of extending to a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop VR/AR applications using Unity or Unreal Engine
- Collaborate with designers and artists to create immersive experiences
- Optimize performance and user experience for various VR/AR platforms
- Integrate 3D assets, animations, sound, and UI elements into the applications
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to improve functionality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in developing VR/AR applications using Unity or Unreal Engine
- Strong knowledge of C# programming language
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g. Maya, 3ds Max)
- Experience with ARKit, ARCore, or other AR development tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
