Junior Data Analyst

We are in search of a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our team in Svalbard. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting and organizing data from various sources, analyzing it to identify patterns and trends, and presenting your findings in a clear and concise manner. You will work closely with our Senior Data Analysts to support their projects and contribute to the overall success of our data-mining efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing data from multiple sources
- Cleaning, formatting, and validating data for accuracy
- Analyzing large datasets using statistical methods
- Identifying patterns, trends, and correlations within the data
- Creating visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings
- Collaborating with team members to support their data needs
- Staying up-to-date with industry advancements in data-mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL or Python
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to present findings effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month without accommodation.

Location:
This position is based in Svalbard but we welcome applications from candidates of any nationality.
