Web Designer

We are in search of a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team in the beautiful city of Svalbard. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites. Your main goal will be to create a seamless and engaging online experience for our clients' target audience. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design principles, experience with various design tools and software, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. This is a contract position that is open to all genders, nationalities, and visa types.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop visually appealing websites that align with clients' brand identity and target audience
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative ideas and solutions
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for client approval
- Ensure website designs are responsive across various devices
- Optimize website performance for speed and SEO
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in web design techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing web design projects
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
- Understanding of UX/UI principles
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Svalbard (relocation assistance available)
