Machine Operator (Svalbard)



As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining various machines in our manufacturing facility located in Svalbard. Your main duty will be to ensure the efficient production of quality products while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate different types of machinery according to production specifications
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure smooth functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Conduct regular quality checks on products to maintain high standards of production
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production and perform minor repairs when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Familiarity with different types of machinery, such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, etc.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate measurements and calculations
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects when needed
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this full-time position.
