We are currently hiring for the position of Cashier at our retail store in Svalbard. As a cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Scan and process items accurately and efficiently
- Accept cash, credit, or debit card payments from customers
- Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Provide information about products or services to customers
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

We offer competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with other benefits. This is a full-time job opportunity suitable for students looking for part-time jobs. Candidates who have their own visa are preferred.
