As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant in Svalbard. You will work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and drinks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train a team of servers, chefs, and other restaurant staff
- Create schedules and assign tasks to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales
- Develop new menu items, as well as seasonal specials, to keep the menu fresh
- Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate pricing to maintain cost efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Understanding of restaurant operations, including knowledge of food safety guidelines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in budgeting and inventory management
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Creativity in developing new menu items
- Knowledge of marketing strategies to attract customers
Salary: $1000 per month without accommodation. This position is open to all nationalities.
